The time has come to welcome our new Guitarist, we cast the net far and wide, looking for an exceptional guitarist, songwriter and master of stage craft. Someone who would bring something new and dynamic to the bands writing and live performance. Man this guy brings all of this in spades. It is an absolute delight to introduce you all as long time supporters of the band to András Droppa, Sloe Train's new lead Guitarist, Please give him a massive welcome, and why not book your tickets now to see us at Bosworth Blues festival in May and Alfold Rock and Blues Festival in July. We shall also be looking to work on new material for stage and recording. Very exciting times.

Sloe Train welcomed Simon Nixon to the band in the summer of 2024, having played some huge gigs with us during the summer and through the winter of 2025, Simon decided to leave the band for personal reasons, so we wish him well for the future.

So JB has left to go home to France, So what next for Sloe Train. Well the band have been working in the background to find a replacement, initially holding auditions in January, making a selection and rehearsing hard with the new guitarist.  So stay tuned this week for announcements on this amazing addition to the band, who is itching to get out and play his debut gig at the Buxton Blues Festival in a few weeks time.
